Full-time/Part-time Front Counter Associates
We are seeking full & part time front counter associates.
Hours vary between 7am and 4:30pm Tuesday-Saturday based on business needs.
****SATURDAY AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED****
Pay $14/hr.
Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs.
Qualifications:
Prompt and exceptional customer service
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to work Saturdays and during holiday seasons
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adhere to food safety standards while preparing and handling products
Responsibilities:
Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience
Answer customers' questions about food ingredients, cake designs and other aspects of the baked good.
Package orders
Stock and replenish display cases with product
Explain products and services to customers
Take orders in person or over the phone
Operate POS system
Clean and maintain work-station
Full-time Donut Fryer/Baker Assistant
This position aids the head baker by preparing all donuts and pastries for display case and packaging. The employee in this position will have a firm handle on the entire donut frying process (mixing, slacking, proofing, baking and cooling). This position is responsible for delivering consistent product quality and meeting daily production needs. In addition to understanding the frying process this position requires good judgement/decision-making and math skills. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs.
***MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EARLY HOURS***
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (double on Fridays) - weekends and holidays as needed
Tuesday-Thursday: 3:30am start - until done
Friday morning - 3:30am start - until done
Friday evening - 6pm start - until done
Starting rate $15/hr.
Responsibilities:
Read and follow recipes
Measure and scale raw ingredients
Mix ingredients using designated equipment
Prepare, roll, cut, and shape donuts and other pastries
Proof yeast goods as directed
Operating equipment such as mixers, ovens and fryers
Fills, starts and cleans fryer properly
Fry and glaze donuts
Ensure all donuts are consistently shaped, sized, and cooked to perfection
Responsible for the organization, cleaning and inventory of work station.
Other duties as assigned by head baker
Qualifications:
Donut Frying experience
18 years or older
Dependable transportation
Effective listening and communications abilities
Ability to consistently work early schedules
Ability to stand for extended periods
Kneeling to clean low areas
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to weigh and mix dry and wet goods weighing up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work in humid or hot environment
Ability to measure dry and wet ingredients and to perform basic conversions
